Petition to give forgotten Disney More Love

Despite the fact it's a sequel my favorite movie of all time is The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (I have a petition to give Forgotten Disney more love by the way). Since this blog is based around media respelled the same date as the movie was, I figured we could start with the movie itself.

The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride is the 1998 sequel to the 1994 hit The Lion King. It takes place where the last film left off, with the presentation of Simba and Nala's daughter Kiara. Like her father she's adventurous and playful. Because of this, Simba is over protective and has Timon and Pumbaa keep a close watch on her. She stumbles into the Outlands and comes across an Outsider named Kovu. At first things are hostile but after a run in with some crocodiles they become friends. Their play is interrupted by roars. The roars belong to Zira (Kovu's mother and the leader of the Outsiders) and Simba. Simba reminds Zira that she was banished for her loyalty to Scar and demands she gets out. Back in the Pride Lands Simba scolds Kiara, but then teaches her "We are one." Zira on the other hand comes up with a plan: If Kovu gets close to Kiara, he can get to Simba and kill him, then re take the Pride Lands in Scar's honor.
